After decades of exploring sculpture, drawing, painting, installations and special events there was an irresistible challenge to explore digital art, hence the birth of “The Color Renaissance”. My work speaks of the secret self and the paradoxical fact that the moment its uniqueness is identified it becomes abstract and by necessity seeks communication with the rest of the world.
My work is also about beauty and vibrant musical color, geometry and bio-energy interfacing freely in a virtual realm. Here they can develop in an atmosphere free of conventional boundaries. I interface with digital and analog elements, pure color, free form, portraits and symbolic images, private space, objects and new vocabularies. Digital technology facilitates the numerous stages each painting goes through in a universe that is “more immediately responsive to the actions of the mind”.
